The agreed 10% deposit payable by you to Frome Valets, confirms you ‘the client’s’ booking date and your agreement to these terms of conditions.



Deposits are paid directly to Frome Valets via bank/bacs transfer. These deposits are non-refundable, unless the booking date is cancelled by Frome Valets. The final agreed deposit and final price agreed after services have been carried out may differ depending on the vehicle size, condition, distance travelled to appointment, and the level of work needed. Frome valets will aim to agree as much with the client upfront as possible to best manage expectations. Full payment for the agreed price of the service, minus the deposit already paid upon booking, will then be sent via invoice to the client’s address, after the agreed services have been carried out.

Failure of the client to attend the services being carried out on the booking date agreed or not able to provide reasonable access for Frome Valets to undertake the agreed services, without providing reasonable notice, will result in the client being liable for the agreed payment in full.

If Frome Valets cancels your booking, then you will be offered an alternative date or full immediate refund of your deposit.

Frome Vallets is fully covered under appropriate and proportionate public liability insurance in scope of the services it carries out.

Should the interior of the vehicle receiving the services/works be heavily contaminated and anything unexpected is seen upon inspection; additional charges and time will be applied. It is therefore important that the client in receipt of these services sends as much information as possible upfront to Frome Valets, to best manage expectations and get an accurate price for the services. If there is already significant damage or staining or discolouration of any interior elements, we will take reasonable steps to improve them using safe methods. If we determine that they cannot be improved significantly, then this will be documented, and we will move on. The interior deep clean cannot repair damage. This will be fed back to the client for full transparency. The same applies to the exterior of the vehicle.

As part of our full deep clean package, we also clean the engine bay using safe and proven methods.  Cleaning an engine bay can be done safely because the engine and connections and components are water resistant and therefore designed to get wet. We also understand and appreciate some customer’s apprehension surrounding this and therefore for this reason we take extra precautions when carrying out this process to give complete customer peace of mind. The engine bay is protected using industry approved Koch Chemie Motorplast MP. This protection is designed as a water-displacing engine conserver, where treated parts regain their new appearance. The power units are also protected from corrosion and environmental factors. Motorplast is Temperature resistant up to 250 degrees centigrade, with Daimler approval. Frome Valets my use video footage to evidence and document the safe cleaning process, if necessary.

Single Stage and Two Stage Correction & Protection packages require reasonable weather conditions to ensure that heavy rainwater does not negatively affect the polishing process. If the forecast on the day of the booking is for heavy rain, then an alternative date will be rescheduled with the client. 

Frome Valets is a mobile detailing and valeting service which can be carried out at the client’s home or workplace. Frome Valets requires access to an electricity point within reasonable distance from the vehicle where it is situated for the services to be undertaken. Frome valets have an onboard water supply and all other necessary tools, equipment and materials to carry out the agreed services.

Frome Valets requires a safe place to undertake the services and will not accept services being carried out on the side of the road due to safety reasons, or anything else which may present a danger to Frome Valets staff members. The precise location of where the services are to be carried out, must be agreed upfront with Frome Valets.
